
The service on Sunday, November 29th,2022 witnessed Picton United Church celebrate its 229th Anniversary as a presence in our community. Brian Nicholson, DLM, presided over the program which included a joyful rendition of “turn, turn turn” by Victoria and Keith Whittal. David Bentley of the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario offered an oral history of the Methodist movement within Upper Canada and the early gatherings at the White Chapel. Following the service, the congregation celebrated in Centennial Hall with a light lunch and cake.
